Empire Dynamics Machinery LLC (Albany, NY) seeks Software Developer to develop post-processors and Common Simulation Engine simulation kits (CNC Digital Twins) on the NX Computer Aided Machining platform for customers for NX post processors and Common Simulation Engine (CSE) simulations (CNC Digital Twins). Develop post processor and CSE simulation kits to work with milling, turning, and other Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine tools used by manufacturing companies. Develop user-friendly programming tools to facilitate the efficient creation of numerical control programs by the end-user.

Salary: $76,648 - $80,000/year

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a technical engineering field such as Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field.  One (1) year of work experience in a title/position involving software in a manufacturing engineering environment for post-processor and Common Simulation Engine kit development using the Siemens NX Computer Aided Machining (CAM) platform, which must include: (1) machine configurations for mill, lathe and 3-axis continuous, (2) on-machine probing cycles and (3) python parser (PLY-Lex & YACC) development.
